As we all know, there’s food that’s good and there’s food that’s good for you.  More often than not, they keep themselves separated pretty well.  However, that’s not always the case.

Take a look at my breakdown and tell me what you think…

For those times that I really don’t care what the nutritional data says on the package:

1. White Peppermint Mocha from Starbucks.

2. Italian sub with extra meat from Jersey Mike’s.

3. Icing on the cake.  Just the icing….no cake necessary.

4. Cheese- I once ate a whole hoop of Sharp Cheddar in 4 months.  That’s 20 pounds of cheese people!

5. Restaurant bread-  I once bit off a server’s hand when she brought the loaf to the table.  Not really, but she did have to pull it back pretty quickly.  Sheenasheen don’t play.  Bring my bread or suffer the consequences!

Some of the healthy thangs I eat because I know I should:

1. Bananas- I’m getting to where I like them a little more, but not that much.

2. Oatmeal- I could take it or leave it…which is why I usually leave it!

3. Whole grain bread- Kurt actually likes the healthy bread better.  Not me.  No sir.  But I grin and bear it for the good it does me.

4.  Chicken- I used to really like it.  I don’t know about ya’ll, but I just get tired of it sometimes.  There’s only so many ways I know how to cook chicken (that are healthy options).

5. Apples- We still have an apple in our fruit bowl that we bought about….hmmmmmm….two months ago.  I get on my little kicks sometimes about eating them and then I just lose interest.

And here are some thangs that are both GOOD and GOOD for me:

1. Fish- I’ve blogged about it before, but I’ll say it again.  I really love fish.  Tilapia, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, etc.

2. Any kind of berry- strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, cranberry.  You get the point.

3. Nuts- pecans, almonds, walnuts.

4. Spinach salad- I eat a lot of spinach salads.  And, most of the time I add several of the other items I just mentioned.

Anything you would add or subtract?
