No pain, no gain?  I don’t know.  Maybe.  One thing is for sure; I had a really great workout thanks to the awesome weather.  With the temperature reaching 60 degrees, I decided to take my cross-training plans to the UNC campus track for a little self-inflicted burn.

I went strong on the stadium steps for 20 minutes.  Even though my legs felt like  wet noodles afterward, I decided to stumble down to the track and get some wind in my face with a quick run.

There was still a little snow on the back side of the track

I’m pretty sure the “ouch” factor will be in play tomorrow morning.  It’s a good thing though.  I couldn’t pass up great weather in the middle of winter.
